Our Office

Women's Total Health, LLC is committed to satisfying the needs in womens health and wellness care. Our private office setting provides our patients with a friendly, relaxed and personal atmosphere. Our office uses the latest computer technology for electronic medical records and electronic prescriptions. This allows our providers to access important patient medical information quickly, in a concise and clear format, at any time, and for any emergency situations.

Our staff is experienced in dealing with routine breast and pelvic examinations, menstrual problems, permenopausal symptoms, adolescent medicine, PMS and weight loss. We also offer contraception solutions to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our staff also focuses on the special needs of our elderly population, providing osteoporosis treatment, cancer screenings, and post menopausal care. Our experienced staff is skilled in perfoming gynecological surgery including traditional and laparoscopic procedures. We provide our obstetrical patients (up to 20 weeks gestation) with idividual and personalized care, with the understanding that each patient is unique and has individual needs.

Appointments can be made by calling our office at 973-209-1200. Patients are seen by appointment only. We suggest you call our office approximately 1 month before your annual visit is due, so we can schedule a time that is most convenient for you. If you have a problem or an emergency, we will schedule an appointment with Dr. Fred Nichols as soon as possible. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment for another time.
Your appointment will be rescheduled if you do not have your copayment (we accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards Visa, MasterCard and Discover).

Electronic Medical Records:

The Digichart electronic medical records system that Women's Total Health installed in 2006 allows the physicians access to your secure health care medical records. You will be required to update your medical history if you are a new patient to this office and for yearly well woman exam. Please have your username and password readily available and go to https://patientportal.digichart.com to fill out your online history.

Information Requirements:

When you visit our offices please be sure to bring your medical insurance card. A copy of your insurance card is required for EVERY visit. You will need to complete new Registration form when you visit our office for the first time, when you have a change to your registration information and when you come to our office for your annual exam. Your insurance co-payment will be collected when you check in. Please note that we accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Discover). Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment in order to complete this necessary paperwork.


Our office participates with most insurance companies. We also offer financial arrangements for patients who have no insurance or are covered by Medicaid. Having no health insurance does not mean having no health care. Our office also accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Discover).

Test Results:

Our office will notify patients of normal pap and mammogram results by a phone call. If there is evidence of an abnormality in your pap smear or if your mammogram results are questionable your physician will contact you by phone to discuss a recommended follow-up plan.

Lab and Radiology Forms:

If one of these forms are required it will be provided to the patient at the time of the office visit. If your form is lost or forgotten, we will not fax replacement forms to the facility. A new form will be re-issued within 24 hours of the phone call for patients to pick up from Women's Total Health.

Prescriptions and Refills:

Routine prescription refills will be made during regular office hours only. To request a prescription refill, please call our office to leave a message indicating your name, date of birth, the name of the medication, the prescription number and the pharmacy name and phone number. Please allow 48 hours for completion.
